How To: Create a .torrent file


TheSeedbox.Asia offers the ability to quickly and easily create new .torrents from your existing content. 

Option A - Through Webui Create button

Click the "Create Torrent" button along the top bar. 



This will open the create torrent box:

Navigate to a directory or source for the torrent you want to create. 






Complete the "Trackers:" field with the address of the tracker you are going to be uploading to. Also check the "Start Seeding" and "Private Torrent" checkboxes. Click Create to complete the process.





Once you click create, a new console screen will appear while the process runs. This will also display any problems if they occur.







Once this is Completed, You may save the .torrent to your local system by clicking "Save". 




Option B - Through the FileManager

Click the "File Manager tab on your webui and Navigate to the file/folder of the content you wish to create your new .torrent from. Right click this file/folder and Select "Create > New .torrent" from the dropdown menus.





This will open the create torrent box (With the Source already completed):





Complete the "Trackers:" field with the address of the tracker you are going to be uploading to. Also check the "Start Seeding" and "Private Torrent" checkboxes. Click Create to complete the process.






Once you click create, a new console screen will appear while the process runs. This will also display any problems if they occur.







Once this is Completed, You may save the .torrent to your local system by clicking "Save".
